Currently playing with a friend Dark Souls any tips ?
5 Day off work. Going to use this time to throw out some new Youtube vids, Dark Souls play-through most likely, work on the Minecraft server, maybe even do some streaming on twitch.
I asked yesterday wheather or not I should do a Dark Souls Let's Play.
Got a few responses and today I deliver the first part. Gonna do about 3 for now and if enough people are interested I will do more!

Thus the birth of another Giants Dad.
So I've been thinking if I should do a Let's Play of Dark Souls. I have played it quite abit but never finished it... I'm not terrible at the game so I won't die a million times before gargoyles but I'm not amazing to one-shot everything and finish the game in 3 hours.
What does everyone think about this?

I'm afraid of starting with "Dark Souls".. But it one of these games that you just want to get over with xD
Why's that? Dark souls is one of the best designed games I've played in a while. I don't want it to end, and there is so much content and variety that will make you come back for a while~ If this is the type of game you like, anyway.
Some people, like myself, will literally become the 'fanboy' type through Dark Souls. Sure i liked certain games, and even have my childhood favorites, but Dark Souls changed the way i look at games. Others have experienced this revelation with DS as i have. In fact, its hard for me to like many other games now because of the rediculously high quality, and replay value, of DS. By the way, im okay with that.
One of the best drawings I've made as of 2013 so far, It is a Elite Knight from Dark Souls with a full Shadow invader behind.
So, I restarted Dark Souls, an starred as a sorcerer. So far, so good, got to Anor Londo in half the time, and twice the souls and an Uchigatana +10.
Now, though, I'm in a little bit of a pickle, I can't get to the 3rd bonfire, the one before Shit-bag and Shit-stain (AKA: The Asshole Brigade). Does damn white knight archers are just.... mean..
So anyone on PS3 wanna be a guardian angel?

buy a load of poison arrows and shoot them from really far back 3 times before you run up the ramp. Just sit back and wait for them to die.

Alright guys name your worst Dark Souls moment ever.
Mine was when I had to solo the 4 kings on game+ literally took me the entire fucking day but it was so much fun, especially when another play finally joined me and beat him after I wasted some 30+ humanities
mine's the same thing but on NG++++, the fight took me 2.5 hours, it was absolute hell but oh so much fun
I spent too much time there, and even though I can just run through it now, those firebombs still make me furious
yeah, i fucking sucked when i started, try and get a black knight weapon if you can, they are so cool haha, but if you want a garanteed good early weapon just get the drake sword (thats if your up to the fire drake yet :D
The drake sword makes the early-game almost too simple... The ability to one-shot most enemies, just doesn't appeal to me.
sorry that you dont like it ... i think its one of the best games out there :)

Next Souls Game: less import on poise, more variation in weapons? maybe add customization TO weapons? thatd be kickass...

Dark souls is the best game ever !!!
I wish I could forget all about this game to play it again like it's my first time!
