I might not be a big fan of Metal Gear Rising, but damn.. that vocal soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks a gamer ever had. Just brilliant!
Did anyone played the Metal Gear Solid games in chronological order (Snake/Big Boss story)?
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
For me it was: MGS > MGS2 -> MGS4 -> MGS3
Too bad Portable Ops is PSP only and the controls of Peace Walker HD on the console are a pain in the ass. Gonna watch them as Let's plays to get the whole story right, before 'Grounds Zeroes' and 'MGS V: The Phantom Pain' will be released.
Metal Gear Rising doesn't count for me since the story is about Raiden and is set after MGS4.
one of the things that has me playing this game daily is the soundtrack fits boss fights so well

I heard the new Metal Gear is really short. Is this true? I was thinking of getting it but I don't want to end up spending a lot of money on a game that's too short.
But the blocking system sucks balls :D
