A Let's Play in Words
Since I can't record at the moment, I am trying something different, a Let's Play in words. I am playing @_bRanN_ 's MiniCTM Sandstone and as I play each section, I will fictionalize my play in a story. The story will accurately depict my play, but with additional descriptive content to support the plot. I have already posted the first section and will try to get a section out each week as I play through the map. I am posting these on my Blog Rick's Writing Block so they should be easily accessible. Check out the map for yourself in the link below, it is quite good.
@_bRanN_ MiniCTM Sandstone Adventure Chronicles
I want to state from the outset that I am not the author of this diary. While I was expanding my mine on my world I came across a strange portal that I had never seen before. Beside the portal was a chest and in it, a small book with tightly written text in a very neat, very precise handwriting. The story it contains is quite fantastic and frankly, I am not sure what to think of it all.
The writer does not seem to understand the concept of parallel worlds that we are quite familiar with and utilize on an almost daily basis, so I suspect that the writer, whoever he or she is, (the text never gives a name or description,) may have been from a universe that had not yet discovered the means to traverse parallel worlds. We do know that random portals do open from time to time between worlds, so I believe that this is how the writer ended up on the world that is described in the diary. How it ended up in my world though is a mystery, and the diary unfortunately, does not explain it.
Setting aside these mysteries for the moment, the story is, as I have said, fantastic and I found it quite interesting. What does it all mean though? Is this just some fantasy of a writer who left a manuscript here or does it relate a true account? Personally, I think it recounts a true event, but if so, this world that the writer found themselves in, is like nothing anyone has ever found exploring the parallel universes.
This place is is an abode of evil, and such if places do exist, and they must in an infinite number of parallel universes, then we should take this as a cautionary tale and keep the warning of this diary in mind each time we enter a transit portal to a new world. Whatever the true meaning of this diary, I present it to you as I have found it. I leave it up to you, the reader, to make up your mind about the truth of this account, this place of evil and death, this Sandstone adventure.
