Heyda! It's time for a new Blog I guess?!
Honestly, there is not THAT much to say about what happened this week but what I have to say: It was quite a nice week regarding Arena on my Resto Druid.
After hiting 2.240 more than a week ago now we kept queueing to gain more Rating and fill in the Requirements up for the Guild I have been joining lately. I was actually not really believing that we could go high as RPD but seems like I was wrong.
The first game we did this week was against a RLS consisting out of two players that Yukani (our Rogue) and me have been fighting against in the 2v2 Bracket few days before. So we knew that it's gonna be a tough fight and well..game ended quick after Yukani disconnected due running against the Tome in RoL in the first minute. A bad start into a new week I would say. The anger of our Rogue raised a lot and he was almost about to explode full of rage >.<! The next game has been against a different team, this time RLD - (Note: We haven't seen a Resto Druid in the past 50 Games?!).
We had a bad start since there has been a lack of communication going on, which almost did cost us the game with the second smokebomb the RLD used. After that we all calmed down and tunneled the Druid to death. The games after we queued into the first RLS and another RLS from our Guild consisting out of multi gladiator experienced players. We managed to beat the second RLS 2-1 but lost twice to the first RLS again. I don't know how much bad luck you can have. Losing first game due a disconnect, second due skype call bugging and third for bad positioning. At least had two 'easy' games at the end against Bookin / Elemental Shaman / Holy Paladin. Afterwards we were suprised about how easy we could win last two games, since the Boomkin and the Elemental have been Rank 1 players. We ended with 2270 that day.
Last Tuesday we queued again (Note: We can't queue that often. Usually we sit for over 20 Minutes in without getting Enemies and IF we get someone to play against they are most likely way below MMR wise). Ret / Rogue / DPriest from EU-Ragnaros as first enemies. Game went smooth and we had a lot of pressure on the Rogue, forcing the Healer to use tons of important Cooldowns in the first minute. Once they pressured our Shadow Priest that hard, that he dropped below 50% and I barely could heal against it in Tree Form, still we managed to win. After the game I noticed, that the Rogue (Hyuru) and the Ret Paladin (Chocobear) are well known players in the scene and top players.
Second game against a 2.2 FMP. Not a big deal at all and we just rolled over the Fire Mage. Stopped queueing after those two games already since we have been in Queue for too long. Decided to play on RPD on our undergeared and new dinged Alts. Meanwhile I had over 100 Viewers and a new max Rating of 2.296 on my Druid.
What I also wanted to mention is, that a friend of mine that is also in the guild DNAW made a Clip of one of my 2v2 Games I played on my Priest one month ago. He kinda suprised me yesterday with that.
