We want to focus on content a lot and make it as relevant as possible to the individual gamer. Imagine your anook wall full of gaming content that you actually care about. A mixure of posts by your friends and the biggest names within our community as well as gaming news from other websites like 1up. Only stuff that you actually signed up to see. Verified, ranked and sorted by the hive mind. I think it could be incredibly powerful. Unlike 1up we won't create content ourselves. We just want to offer the best possible framework for your content. We love 1up and all the other great gaming websites out there but we feel there is a connection missing between all of them. And i think anook could be exactly that. or at least something that helps! Our claim is Welcome Home, Gamer. And we mean it. We want to create the ideal home for any gamer out there. So what will differentiate us in the long run is that we continue to strive for this bigger goal if you will. This is the main reason why i signed up with anook. I am a gamer and i love the vision of anook to unite gamers, developers, guilds, bloggers, news sites and pro gamers regardless of what games they play or write about and what platform they are on.

It does sound nice to have a simplistic approach to a social site dedicated to gaming.

I got a dumb question though, is there a way to import the games that I have on Steam, or do they have to all be added manually?

ha thats a smart idea you know. we don't offer that yet. but we'll add that to the (growing) list of must have features

oh and in general there is no must when it comes to adding games... when you add the game you simply will from then on receive the posts on your wall :)
