Game development tip #1: Don't add powerups that increase bounce height in a game that revolves around descending... moldcss.github.io/games/ice
I decided deleting my character was probably over-the-top, considering he has all my gold weapons and crafting experience. I still don't intend on coming back, but I asked ZOS to restore him (Xivkyn Bonerlord). Received this reply very shortly after to my surprise, and also had a good …
So after a few failed attempts at leaving I've gone ahead and deleted my characters to ensure I stay away.
Here's a little montage of some pics I've found on anook. Nothing special, but they were times where I actually …
The problem with their "balancing" is, they always end up overbuffing something and we have to live with it for several updates. Then that update rolls by and they overnerf what was overperforming and buff everything else.
Sometimes I don't even want them to touch the classes in fear they will break them completely.
A question for you Elder Scrolls lore nerds: Were the Akavari kung-fu masters?
I ask this because the Dragonknights in ESO (Who learnt their abilities from the Akaviri) show many stances used in Kung-Fu.
1. Power Lash
This is the move you execute when performing a flame lash on an off-balanced target. You spin around in the air with your whip made of fire. This move is extremely close to one used by Shaolin Kung-Fu
2. Obsidian Shield
A stubborn, powerful stance where you slam the ground with your legs wide apart. This looks just like the Horse Stance from the style known as Hung Gar.
Were they kung-fu masters, or is this all just a coincidence?
If you're into anime, it might also remind you of Avatar the last airbender. Hung Gar was used by the Earth Benders, which the earthern heart skill line appears to be based on (throwing rocks, rock shields, etc), and Fire bending based on Shaolin Kung-Fu is similar to ardent flame (they could breathe fire, execute flame whips, surround themselves in fire).
Or maybe I'm just bored and reading too much into it.
