One of the problems with your melee game is that it doesn't look like you've taken Puncturing Strikes in the Aedric Spear line, and morphed it into the version that heals you. Doing that will turn melee-range into something akin to easy mode. That might help you with Sword & Shield (and, it's not bad with Staff.)

Yeah.. leveling up to 50 I was 5 heavy, 1 light and 1 medium so I could skill up light & medium some. At VR1 I went 5 heavy 2 light for the increased magicka passives. Once I hit the veteran area packs of mobs became much deadlier and so began to focus more on AE skills which is all magicka for me.
A fun build that is also functional :-)
"Thunder Fists" ;) I like the picture to the right :D It's good to see there are people out there who love the sorc w/o complaining and shitstorming ZOS for "buff sorc"
Yeah, I'm never going to ditch my Sorcerer. He's been with me since early-access. Even though we've suffered by a lot of changes, it's really about trying to stay positive and finding ways to cope with changes. Honestly, I like my new build much more than the pre-1.6 one!
