I'm back from my holidays and have 2 keys for the Decksplash play test:

It looks like a cross between Tony Hawks and Splatoon, minus the skaters. PM me if you want a key for the test :)

It's really cool, but I think it's too big for me personally. Maybe a great idea for a guild hub.

[ESO] Whitestar home party recap

To celebrate Whitestar 3d Anniversary, we have gathered in Stros M'Kai. The warm sand, the blue sky, the soft breeze reminded us the first days of Whitestar in Tamriel when everything started on that very same beach.
Not the same poeple than3 years ago were gathered though! @torhagen @boinged @Chillama @Dragostea @Neny @Maggie-one @MCFranks @Elloa and @PhunkeyMonkeh were present, drinking delicate wine, dancing and playing music.

We spent a little bit of time together before to travel to the houses freshly decorated by our guildmates. Indeed, tonight was not only a day of celebration, but also a contest for who would have the most beautiful home. We started to gather at Neny's place, and Elloa & Nicky distributed the gifts for everyone: a pie and a mystery-painting.

It was really fun to visit the houses of everyone and see how everyone had decorated their place. Some were very impressive, even the most modest homes.
We spent quite some good time in @Gyudan home, on the (awful - evil) jumping puzzle and we ended the night at @Wolle0rism We didn't forget to turn off all the light when we left his home.

[ESO] New Life Festival

To celebrate the new year, Whitestar gathered in Tamriel for the New Life Festival event. It was the first social event organised in ESO since a very long time, and I've been very happy to see so many members joining, including old members that just restarted the game recently! @boinged @Naul @Acharial @Wolle0rism @Hultay @MaggieOne
Thanks to everyone that joined and made that evening very enjoyable! My special thanks to @PhunkeyMonkeh that toke in charge the lead and explanations of every quest and achievements! If the night was a success, its truly because of his help!

Its cold though!

Considering that the interest for The Elder Scrolls Online within Whitestar is rising, and the game earn in flexibility with One Tamriel, I'm planing to organise more social events of the like in future.
Homestead will generate a lot of need in various areas, such as achievements, need of gold and materials or motifs. We can prepare ourselves together via different fun events! I'm thinking of Craglorn events, Thief contest, Dungeons of course, World bosses and dark anchor event, maybe even PVE excursions in Imperial City or Cyrodiil!
If you have any ideas or wishes, do not hesitate to share in the comments below!

I'm overjoyed that you are continuing this Boinged :)

First raid in Maw of Lorkaj

I'm very happy to announce that our first COMMUNITY TRIAL was very fun and enjoyable. And I believe that everyone left satisfied.

The event started in the most chaotic way, with a huge patch that had to be downloaded and that delayed several players. We also didn't had news from two members that never showed off. We gave them enough time to join the game before to decide to replace them (in case they were stuck with the download of the patch). We easily find two extra players in the Guild Alith.
Everyone gathered on Discord, and the conversations were warmhearted and relaxed. We engaged the first Dro M'Athra some 40 min later than planed, but no matter. We had some time to prepare and get acquainted.

We didn't encountered any problems on the trash or the first bosses. We only wiped once on the second boss, the time to figure out the exact strategy. We were very surprised and happy about our victory. We continued our adventures, until the last boss, on wich we had several attempts. It toke us a little time to understand how the boss was working and what we needed to do. We didn't managed to get a kill, but next time, we will prevail!

Thanks to everyone that was part of the event
Our tanks @Wynbjorn and @boinged, @Gribbly that helped to lead and share tactics, @MCFranks and his fabulous hat @torhagen @Dragostea @Laplace @Dandar @hlaadriel and two other Alith

Oh and there's a patch tomorrow ;)

Community Trial event

Greetings everyone!

I'm organising with my community Whitestar a static group for Trial in The Elder Scrolls Online once a week on MONDAY at 09:00pm (CET) We wil be starting with Maw of Lorkaj and Sanctum Ophidia normal. Once the other Trials will be adapted (September), we will also explore Aetherian Archive and Hell Ra citadel. Once the group is ready to tackle more challenging content, we will try the veteran mode.
Key words: TeamWork - FUN - Relaxing

Players that are new to the game, feel too shy to join a PUG, and would like to experience Trials with a nice group without being forced to join a guild are very welcome to join this project! Players that are veteran, experienced and want to join a relaxed group are very welcome to join aswell if they can show patience, and accept to not spoil the tactics if not asked :)

Who can join?

  • PC EU Megaserver
  • Veteran character. CP close to 160 idealy (can be discussed)
  • Access to Maw of Lorkaj (ESO+ or ThievesGuild)
  • Be a nice, relaxed, and patient player
  • No experience requiered
  • No min-max build imposed

Why a Static group? My guild is tiny and we like it that way, we have not enough active members of the lvl required to organise trials group. Instead of mass recruiting or pugging, I'd like to organise and open this event for anyone regardless of guild affiliation or faction. In the same time, I'd like to preserve the comfort of meeting regularly with same people, so we get to know each others and learn to work together.

Rules - for a easy organisation and ensure the comfort of everyone.

  • Register on Anook, and sign up events (will be linked here every week)
  • Register on Discord to join our voice chat (adress will be shared in the group chat). Microphone not requiered.
  • Be nice and respectful
  • Come in time. After 5min past the time, you will be replaced
  • Come prepared. Food, gear repaired, build set up
  • No elitism allowed
  • No sudden AFK during the event for minor matters such as drink, food and the likes.
  • No trolling, excess noise, controversial talk or anything disturbing during the event.
  • Those events are meant to relax, and having fun, while accomplishing a challenge in group.

How to be part of this event?

  • If you are interested, sign up this thread with your character, classes and role. Add your ALTs if you like as informations. In case we need to be flexible and switch roles.
  • You can sign up on Anook (social network for gamers), as we will set up the events there.
  • You can contact me in game @Elloa (friendlist full though), on Anook @ Elloa or Discord @ Elloa#6812

Poeple signed and confirmed on Anook will always have priority over other players that has not bothered to sign up. Its a simple and easy way to "save" your spot.

Hi there, I will gladly join You this monday witm my DPS Nightblade

[Community] A week...

It was a test, an attempt to gather the community a specific day in a specific game, and see if it was something we could do regularly. You can read more about this project and share your feedback in this thread. But without further adoo, this is what we did last week!
Thanks to @Aeyvi for the FFXIV event summary.

During the day, several guildies were playing together, doing Dungeons, LFR and the usuall activities you can do in World of Warcraft. The evening, we started to gather on Discord, and soon we had 8 members online chatting together @PrHasenfuss @Agagor @Aeyvi @Conor @Vordt.Ororyu @Neny @Internet and Elloa Instead of going to Goldshire, we decided to go in the snow of Northrend and have some fun arround K3. We played with various toys, having a Murloc VS Gnoll battle, and other flying bear-form silliness. Then we headed towards Ulduar. @Animan joined us, and it was his first raid ever, he may have been ...slighty confused.Just a bit! We ended the night with @Vijo, Aeyvi, Fizzpop, Internet and Elloa doing some Mythic Dungeons.

After the usual gathering at Klang Manor, the Whitestar estate in Wayrest, we formed a first group to do the Gold-key pledge: @Gribbly @Azurri @PrHasenfuss and Elloa. We eat some cake and had a very smooth run, especially considering that Proffesor was only vet7 and had never done that Dungeon before. We continued the event with two groups for some random Dungeons. One one side, @boinged Gribbly Azurri and Proffesor and on the other side, @Maggie-one @MCFranks @Internet and Elloa explored Arx Corridum. This was a good feat for Frank, who tanked for the very first time on his lvl 10 Argonian!
We ended the night by gathering everyone in a single group, and we attempted Maw of Lorkaj for the first time. We scaled the Trial to Vet1, as we were only 7 unexperimented members, and not everyone was Vet16. We managed to kill the first boss without too much problems, and enjoyed very much our ride to the second one. However, the second one was more difficult to understand and abandonned the fight for that nigh after a few wipes.

We were six to gather in Sakura Lane, the long road that long Heidell and lead to Mediah. @Firkan @Kitiandra @Aeyvi @Azurri @Internet and Elloa. We started by showing off our horses, chatting about breeding and training, and even had some demonstration of our skills as a horse trainer, and our abilities to fall flat on our bottom in front of the crowd. But that was only fun!
We decided to go on a adventure, we mounted our horses and rode towards the East, a warm and desertic area.
We met some misadventures on the way, Aeyvi even lost her mount who got killed by a rampaging creature. But we continued our adventures nontheless, in good mood. We shared some good laugh, and some nice talk all along the way.
We ended the night by crossing the sea on Internet's boat, and have a promenade on the Iliya island, a heaven for fishermans.

Abandoned by her Sharlayan caretakers following the exodus, the Antitower had since been overrun by magical guardians left behind. The fearsome group from the Whitestar Free Company battled through the deepest depths of the aetherial sea to overcome all manner of strange and mystical creatures within. @Cornelius taking up his sword and shield to protect us, @Xera shining the bight lights to keep us safe and injury free, @LunaDra with her spikey pole to impale all evils on, and @Aeyvi taking up her bow and arrow to impale the wall with. In a land where nothing makes sense nor is it what it seems. Their eyes first bestowed upon a giant frog wielding a lollipop known as Zuro Rogo, followed by the sinister dust bunny Ziggy with his magical rocks of doom.. but the last, and greatest challenge came by the name of Calcabrina, the mighty overlord of all the dolls with her 6 little doll minions. With their superior strength and skill (or a lot of arm flailing and panic) the group used all their might and self determination to face this abomination of doll-kind down and crush her back into the fiery box from whence she came. Pleased with their success, and having seen no more adventurers on their travels, they journeyed far once again over the aetherial sea to the watery lands of Satasha, this time donning new weapons and armour that was yet to grow accustom to them. They bravely fought through the fishies and the evil Serpent Reavers with @LunaDra protecting us from the punches this time, @Cornilius flashing light around to cure our wounds, @Xera with his misbehaving punchy fists and @Aeyvi with guns (which silly person trusted her with those)
. Following their success in defeating Denn the Orcatoothed, the adventurers returned home, tired and weary, looking for peace and tranquillity that only their beautiful house in The Mists could provide. In the meanwhile one of their fellow company member, @ConorHiggins had arrived back at the house and joined the group for a quick natter. The Mists was also graced by the faces of many Whitestar friends including Ed's future husband and the beautiful @MikuYiki. The group tended to their wounds, found a trusty fire to sit at and took some rest to prepare themselves for the next challenges ahead.

As always, there was much silliness, fun and laughter, both in game and on discord.
