Well, it's not necessarily harvest moon, but what does everyone think of the rune factory series, as compared to the HM series?

I find the rune factory series a bit of a challenge and more time consuming good for those who want combat but its optional :) Plus I find the artwork looks better in the long run but sometimes story progression is a bit confusing . Example one would not know you get the axe from the nun in Rune Factory Fontier

HM had improve over these past years... from mineral town to wonderful life and now this.. i have to say.. this game take a whole new meaning to HM.. first lets ignore the customization of towns since its a new feature.. what im talking about is the farming.. you know. a wide variety of crops such as rice or paddy field, mango and the livestock from the classic cow, sheep and chicken now u got yaks, alpacas and llama.. and if dat isnt enough u can get bees unlike the previous game these bees are hard workers you just have to wait 6 days for the honey and fishing have greatly improve in this game..and if the farm life isnt enough to get u buy the game there are many other feature in the game such as the town customization, and a whole bunch of stuff which i forgot most of them haha.. since i focus more on the farm life aspect in every HM..its a shame that natsume did not put life stage system or feature or whatever u wanna call it ... like in wonderful life.. its a great game..

The marriage system is almost perfect in this one, and I say almost perfect because of one thing, it added a dating stage, but the only way to get out of dating is to lower there heart to grey and not talk to them for a whole season, which is a pain if you change your mind or want to get all the scenes you can. Also it has a very slow start (getting bricks at the start is a huge pain) also the mining being dumbed down really disappointed me, I dont see why they couldnt have had mines similar to harvest moon DS (Totally insane and time consuming but super fun) and had it available at the start of the game
