Almost finished a Bronze-Gold guide on what to do if you mess up in laning phase or come out behind. This is tailored a bit to top laners but can be used for ADC and some junglers. After this I will be giving some love to supports who are struggling to get gold including picks, strategies and even teaching the lane for those last pick supports. Thank you to @Spire for requesting an idea, any others will be considered and put into my schedule. GLHF

Currently working on a youtube video for you guys. Any specific champions or things you guys are struggling with and would like to learn?

So freezing and pushing a lane and knowing who and when to do this with|?

Well I kinda know how that works but I meant sth more like having control over the lane so they push in your favor depending on the match up. So getting the control right at the start.

So for example if the lane isn't in your favor at all and you want to freeze it closer to your turret, how to make sure that is done right from the first wave or so? I won't lie to you I checked your division to get an idea of the people you'd be facing and saw you are diamond. So speaking relatively you are against much better opponents then i am used to. Generally speaking I would tell you to last hit only when absolutely necessary (let them get very low) and even sacrifice the odd ranged minion so the wave of gold coming in is positioned where you want it vs that 20 or so gold you sacrificed to get the wave to push. Vice versa frequent auto attacks while staying mobile and discouraging the opponent from auto attacking minions with any possible spells (love syndra, cass, and ori for this) will force the wave to push onto them. Remember triggering minion aggro can also control how much damage the minions are doing in lane so abuse this. Bait an auto attack with an Ori shield to soak it up if you want your minions to stop attacking enemy minions (your minions will now lose to the enemies unless you auto back), or as you might see Link do in older matches abuse the Ori shield and soak up the minion aggro while auto attacking his opponent getting poke damage and winning a trade while giving time for his minions to attack the enemy minions for free subtly pushing the lane forward. This might be a bit of a mess so I apologize, I understand this concept and use it time to time but the people I face are much more lenient (they still just try to perma push or perma poke lol).

Hey guys,

So obviously with the start of a new season being one month in and people beginning to place and feel the grind, I want to remind everyone 2 very basic things I am not seeing friends or gold and under players doing. One is raging for little to no reason, rage happens and it makes sense sometimes. Sometimes your yasuo mid quits or goes in 5v1 20 miles away in a very close 70 min game losing it for you guys. But if a teammate is actually struggling and is pulling negative scores help them instead of wasting time typing. Typing and raging just hinders the person we assume needs to carry (you) and he/she is probably not going to do any better behind if they didn't do well when even. Even help winning lanes or something.

Second thing is super easy and I'm surprised how little it is happening: warding. I was playing 9-10 games the other night with a bunch of gold players. As a jungler I was placing far more wards than any other player and wasn't using sightstone. I assume gold players and some silver players understand how to ward and how important it is, maybe people are getting back into league like myself and are forgetting?

Hey guys so just a curious thought to throw out there for mostly lower ranked players. I am applying for a position as an eSports analyst, journalist etc at a fairly large company that is finally recognizing eSports as a sport (knock on wood). I've run a nook time to time that i would like to get going again to help others with tips on improving play, things that might not be obvious to some or went through the radar in undertones and small print. Also i will be doing podcast-esque videos where i answer questions from newer players i know and any fellow anook users ask. I want to get my practice back in and hopefully with support here in helping us grow together and possibly higher ranked players providing input or working with me as well to help.

I suggest that while everyone is getting used to the jungle, players looking to play that position should practice and pick up a strong counter jungler. Longer respawn times and a new item to make counter jungling safer makes trundle and nunu very fun to play. And with these new items, you don't have to sacrifice much to open up those doors.

Very excited for the preseason and for me the return of league. Unfortunately i was not able to play League much this year due to computer issues but i am excited to announce that with this preseason i will be returning. As league changes so does this page, some may have noticed the nook is now called "League tips of the day" where i will not just talk about ways of improving your mid lane but personal discoveries, ideas, patch changes etc for you to learn more about the game, look at a professional game differently and grow as a player. I look forward to a new year of league with all of you and also will be looking towards being more interactive with members.

It's been happening to me a couple of time the last couple of weeks. While loading, it'll crash and never reconnect. I had to exit client and re-login.

that awkward moment when your client is just a black screen in ranked champ select :/
