Hey guys, as TG is out now I thought I'd ask what has happened with the Monster Helm merchant? Is it still in with the original settings it had at release?

As for how much things are going to cost, I don't know on Live. I assume it should still be 200k AP/99k gold for the gear as they haven't told us otherwise before going live.

The patch notes are intentionally vague: "This vendor will sell powerful item sets not normally obtainable in Cyrodiil for a high amount of AP or gold."

Ah thanks guys, I was curious to see if they'd upped the prices due to all the early complaints

Well, so long and thanks for all the fish!

I have had some pretty big RL stuffs turn up, not to mention that even though I was excited to test the changes coming with TG I'm feeling more and more like they're not enough to make me stay, so I'm taking an extended leave of absence from ESO.

Most of the problem is that I've started feeling that everything is getting too grindy, and I've run out of things to do in my now limited time. My VR16 is fully geared out, so I was just doing writs and dailies on him (grinding for mats/shoulders), and my lower VRs I need to max level before I feel I can really use them (grinding the levels out). When the game starts feeling less fun then my job it's time to move on for a while...

Through it all however, I've felt that the community is what really kept me interested; even after I started getting disenchanted with the game months ago I was on the forums and here because of you wonderful people, and I shall probably still be hanging around stalking posts to see what changes are occurring (thanks to @Elloa for that!). Also, @Alucardo you can have (some) of my stuffs if you're interested, but I don't see myself leaving forever so you're not taking my gold mats :P

TLDR: I'm feeling a lot burnt out, and RL commitments have finally pulled the plug on my adventures through Tamriel for now.

I wish you all the best, and hope that you stay happy and awesome like the community I know you are :)

Sorry to hear you're burnt out mate, but yeah, I know the feeling. Usually when I find things are getting a little dull I'll roll an alt, but if grinding is you're problem then this most likely isn't the best solution xD

Hopefully we'll see you again once vet ranks are removed. You'll have a lot less grinding then, especially considering Alliance War skills will be easier to pick up. It'll be around Dark Brotherhood, so you'll also have a heap of new content to go through (TG and DB).

All the best man, and hope to see you again soon!

Yeah, getting the v16 gear is grinding, grinding and more grinding. My main uses V14 gear until I researched all Nirn traits. It takes forever!

I just have to complain about the 10 FPS bug. My game was working fine until the "performance update patch" a couple of days ago and now I have almost died in combat to basic mobs because I get no frames.

Going to see tonight if a de-frag, updating addons, cleaning temp files etc. has any effect on this issue :/

Was thinking of doing that but had already started a very lengthy de-frag so didn't want to strain my HDD too much. I'm assuming it's gotten better for you since then? Just hoping it's a reasonably temporary thing

Has been a lot better since I changed the video quality. I haven't tried changing it back, because I'd pick a playable game over good graphics any day of the year xD

Well that's disappointing :/ I made myself a beefy computer to run everything at max, so it seems a bit wasteful
