Avarosan - Ashe // The Winter's Claw - Sejuani // Frostguard - Lissandra
Here is Pabro with details on the in game portion of the event and how you can snag yourself either an Avarosan, Winter's Claw, or Frostguard summoner icon :

"Welcome to the frozen North - a windswept and war-torn region home to some of the most resilient people in all of Runeterra. Here, three great tribes vie for control of their icy homeland. The Avarosan, led by Ashe, strive to unite the Freljord under a banner of peace. The Winter's Claw, boldest and most warlike of the three, follow Sejuani on her campaign of conquest. And the Frostguard, secluded and mysterious, bide their time haunting ancient ruins alongside Lissandra, the Ice Witch. As they prepare for war, something ancient and sinister stirs deep beneath the earth, threatening to corrupt the land itself.

Choose your tribe

You can join the battle for the Freljord by declaring your allegiance to Ashe, Sejuani or Lissandra. At the start of the event, you'll be able to choose from the following three summoner icons:

Choose the tribe you want to support by selecting their banner as your summoner icon. Win 10 games without changing your icon, and you'll unlock it permanently. Win a game with a different tribal icon and you'll have to start over, so choose wisely!"

Choose your tribe FAQ:

"During the Freljord event you’ll have the opportunity to permanently unlock a summoner icon featuring the emblem of your favorite tribe. At the start of the event, all three tribes will have icons available. Winning games wearing the icon associated with your favorite will earn you points toward unlocking it permanently.
How do I unlock a tribe’s icon?
After accruing ten wins with a tribal icon, you'll permanently unlock an upgraded version. This upgraded icon is a badge of honor reserved only for loyal members of the tribe.
Which game types count toward my wins?
All matchmade games against human opponents count toward unlocking the banner of your chosen tribe. This includes all normal and ranked games on Summoner’s Rift, the Crystal Scar, the Twisted Treeline and the Howling Abyss.
Custom game or co-op vs. AI wins won’t help you join a tribe.
How long do I have to unlock my chosen icon?
The Freljord event will run until 5/14. Victories within this time period will count towards joining a tribe.
Temporary icons won’t be available once the event’s over, so be sure to join a tribe before time runs out.
What happens if I change my icon while accruing my 10 wins?
Playing a game with the icon of a new tribe will reset any progress you made toward unlocking any of the others. Non-Freljord icons have no effect on your progress toward joining a tribe.
How long after I complete my 10th win will I receive my icon?
It can take up to 48 hours for you to receive the icon of your chosen tribe. You’ll know you’ve successfully completed the process when you find an upgraded version of the tribe’s icon available in-client.
Can I unlock more than one icon?
No. You can only join one Freljord tribe, so choose your allegiance wisely.
You can switch tribes over the course of the event by winning 10 games with a new icon. At that point you’ll gain your new tribe’s icon, but lose your previous tribe’s icon.
I’m still confused. Can you give some examples?
Sure. Here are a few examples for the sake of clarity.
Example 1:
Morello wins seven games for the Winter’s Claw, then changes his mind and wins one game for the Avarosan.
Result – Morello currently holds one win toward unlocking the Avarosan icon. He needs nine more wins to join the tribe. If he switches back to the Winter’s Claw banner, he needs 10 wins to join them.
Example 2:
Phreak wins 10 games for the Frostguard, successful joining the tribe. He then wins nine games under the Avarosan banner.
Result – Phreak is still a member of the Frostguard, but he has nine wins toward unlocking the Avarosan icon. If he wins another game for the Avarosan, he’ll join that tribe and replace his Frostguard icon.
Example 3:
ByronicHero racks up 100 wins in a row, but changes his icon to a different tribe every time.
Result – ByronicHero doesn’t unlock any icons, because no tribe wants to be associated with a dirty, noncommittal flip-flopper like him. Don’t be like ByronicHero – join a tribe so you don’t get left out in the cold!"

As you likely have already heard, Patch 3.6 "The Freljord patch" is out! The most prominent feature to come along with it is the brand new Howling Abyss ARAM map. Additionally, there is now a match making queue for the ARAM game type - no more dealing with pesky custom games!

Continue reading for the official announcement regarding the advent of matchmaking for ARAM games and the reroll feature.

Here is Brackhar with the good news:

"It's official! All Random All Mid matchmaking on the Howling Abyss is available this patch. What you started as a community movement quickly became one of the most popular game types in League of Legends. Now your ARAM battles will feature an icy new aesthetic, complete with new shopkeepers and destructible environments. We've also upgraded the tutorial map to the new look. Hit the Play button and select the Howling Abyss to queue up for your first matchmade ARAM game.

Spanning the deepest point on Runeterra, the bridge over the Howling Abyss is the subject of countless stories and legends. They say when the winds are high you can hear an unnatural howling emanating from deep within the chasm. Perhaps it's just some trick of the air. Or perhaps its source is something more sinister, lost long ago to the depths of the earth.

While the random element is a really fun part of the Howling Abyss, we know there are times you really don't want to play a particular champion. For this reason we've added a reroll feature to ARAM matchmaking. Each game you play on the Howling Abyss will earn you points toward a reroll. When you're really not pleased with the particular hand you're dealt in the game lobby, you can spend your points to receive a different random character.

You can learn more about the Howling Abyss along with the new reroll feature in the patch preview.

You can read more about how rerolls work here."

The eagerly anticipated Freljord patch, patch 3.6, has been scheduled for later tonight. On 4/30 at 2:00 PDT for NA, 4:00 GMT +1 for EUW, and 3:00 GMT+2 for EUNE the servers will go down for maintenance

This patch will see Proving Grounds replaced by the fantastic new Howling Abyss map, the introduction of an ARAM match making queue, relaunches for Trundle and Sejuani, and much more. Lissandra will also be in this build and "will be released at a later date".

Here is the patch preview, which'll give you an overview to the changing coming to Nasus, Quinn, and the new Howling Abyss map coming in this patch.

Continue reading for a full set of patch notes and more information!

Here they are, fresh off the chopping block:

Lissandra the Ice Witch is in the 3.6 build and will be released at a later date.

Sejuani has been relaunched with a new model, updates to her story and a revised kit. For more information on the Winter’s Wrath, click here.
Frost Armor (Passive)
Damaging an enemy with an ability or basic attack grants Sejuani bonus armor and reduces movement-slowing effects on her for a short duration
Arctic Assault (Q)
Sejuani charges forward, knocking enemies into the air and dealing magic damage to them based on their maximum health. The charge stops after knocking an enemy champion into the air
Flail of the Northern Winds (W)
Sejuani's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage to her target and all nearby enemies. She then spins her flail, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies for a few seconds
Permafrost (E)
Passive: Sejuani’s abilities and basic attacks apply Frost to enemies
Active: Sejuani damages and slows all nearby enemies afflicted with Frost
Glacial Prison (Ultimate)
Sejuani throws a frost-forged bola in a line. If the bola hits an enemy champion, it shatters, stunning the target and all nearby enemies. If the bola reaches its maximum range without striking an enemy champion, it shatters and slows nearby enemies

Trundle has been relaunched with a new model, updates to his story, and changes to his kit. For a full rundown of the Troll King’s changes, click here.
King's Tribute (previously Decompose)
No gameplay changes
Chomp (previously Rabid Bite)
Damage adjusted to 20/40/60/80/100 (+1.0/1.05/1.1/1.15/1.2 attack damage) from 30/45/60/75/90 (+0.8/0.9/1/1.1/1.2 attack damage)
Now slows target by 75% for 0.1 seconds on hit
Animation speed scales with Trundle's attack speed
Frozen Kingdom (previously Contaminate)
Attack speed bonus increased to 20/35/50/65/80% from 20/30/40/50/60%
Now grants 8/11/14/17/20% increased healing to Trundle
No longer grants tenacity
Pillar of Ice (previously Pillar of Filth)
Now interrupts channels
Duration reduced to 6 seconds from 6.5
Subjugate (previously Agony)
Now deals 20/22/24 (+2 per 100 AP)% max health damage instead of 200/350/500
Armor and magic resist drain adjusted to 20% from 15/20/25%
Second drain effect now applies over 4 seconds and keeps the stats for another 4 seconds afterwards instead of draining over 6 seconds

Now properly bounces to other targets after hitting an enemy affected by Blaze

Missile Barrage
Fixed a bug where using Missile Barrage restarted the cooldown for gaining another missile

Dr. Mundo
Infected Cleaver
Can be cast at any health value, but will not reduce health below 1
Can be cast at any health value, but will not reduce health below 1

In Patch 3.5, we changed Draven’s Spinning Axe to lead Draven more accurately when he was benefitting from movement speed increases. Unfortunately, these changes were very disruptive for dedicated Draven players and didn’t offer enough potential for skilled players to showcase their skill through covering long distances between throwing and catching. We decided to revert the change.
Spinning Axe
Reverted a recent change affecting how Draven was led by Spinning Axe, restoring prior functionality
Axe drop location will no longer be placed on the far side of impassable terrain from Draven

Pulsefire Ezreal
Fixed a bug where Pulsefire Ezreal would occasionally not see gold popups for some of his last hits on targets in plain view
Fixed a bug where Pulsefire Ezreal would play his death animation a second time if Trueshot Barrage was leveled up while dead

Drain Life
Fixed a bug where Fiddlesticks would not immediately attack his target after successfully channeling Drain Life

With our previous patch changes, we increased Karma’s overall usability and Mantra generation. These changes are more focused on smoothing out Karma’s early game presence by giving a damage increase to Inner Flame’s lower levels and buffing Inspire to make it far more effective at level one.
Additionally, by lowering the cooldowns of three of Karma’s abilities – including her Mantra – Karma will synergize better with Gathering Fire, allowing her to scale into late game.
Inner Flame
Damage increased to 80/125/170/215/260 from 60/110/160/210/260
Focused Resolve
Cooldown reduced to 16/15/14/13/12 seconds from 16/15.5/15/14.5/14
Cooldown reduced to 10 seconds from 12
Movement speed bonus increased to 40/45/50/55/60% from 20/30/40/50/60%
Cooldown reduced to 45/42/39/36 seconds from 45

Mana per level increased to 55 from 50
Mana cost increased to 60/65/70/75/80 from 40/50/60/70/80

Call of the Void
Mana cost reduced to 80/85/90/95/100 from 80/90/100/110/120
Null Zone
Mana cost reduced to 90/95/100/105/110 from 90/100/110/120/130

With a 95% movement speed and attack speed reduction at max levels, Wither was completely shutting down champions reliant on auto-attacks with no opportunity for counterplay. By reducing the attack speed slow, Nasus is still effective at suppressing champions, but his victims will now have the option to turn and fight.
Attack speed slow amount has been halved

No longer expends Visionary if the target dies before Consume resolves

Reckless Swing
Can be cast at any health value, but will not reduce health below 1

We wanted to highlight Quinn’s great strengths as an unconventional AD carry with high cross-map mobility. As such, Quinn can now use Tag Team more reliably in and out of fights, and the additional movement speed on Heightened Senses should allow her to remain more elusive in skirmishes.
For the other two changes, we gave Blinding Assault an ability power ratio so that players can gain some additional power when building items like Trinity Force or when receiving the Baron Nashor buff. For Vault, we added a mini stun on Quinn’s target as she dashes toward them, making it more reliable as an escape.
Blinding Assault
Now has a 0.5 ability power ratio
Heightened Senses
Passive as Quinn now grants 20/30/40/50/60 movement speed in addition to the attack speed bonus
Now briefly interrupts the target
Tag Team
Maximum movement speed bonus increased to 80/90/100% from 80% at all ranks
Base movement speed bonus increased to 20/30/40% from 20% at all ranks
Cooldown reduced to 140/110/80 seconds from 140/120/100
Skystrike can now be cast 1 second after activating Tag Team, down from 2.5

No longer prevents Rumble from automatically acquiring basic attack targets

Ki Strike
Fixed a bug that caused Ki Strike to be consumed when attacking wards

Fleet of Foot
Now also grants its effect when Boomerang Blade and Ricochet hit enemy champions

Death Sentence and its passive were providing too many benefits at early levels with their high poke, burst damage, and lowered cooldowns. By moving the passive damage bonus from Death Sentence to Flay, Thresh players will now need to think strategically about how they level their skills.
Death Sentence
Damage increased to 80/120/160/200/240 from 80/110/140/170/200
Passive moved to Flay
Damage reduced to 65/95/125/155/185 from 65/105/145/185/225
Now has Death Sentence’s previous passive (bonus damage on basic attacks)
Fixed a bug that caused the passive's damage to be consumed when attacking wards
Fixed a bug where Flay sometimes dealt more damage than intended
With these changes, we wanted to accomplish a few separate things. First, we wanted to tone down Udyr’s overpowering early game Tiger Stance damage, but we also wanted to let him scale better into late game. These changes were implemented by scaling the attack damage ratios on Tiger Stance’s active damage.
Second, by changing the active damage of Tiger Stance from magical to physical, it should be more intuitive to itemize against Udyr. Additionally, it will also be easier for Udyr to itemize properly, as he will gain further benefits from attack damage focused items like Black Cleaver or Last Whisper.
Tiger Stance
Active damage changed to physical instead of magic
Active damage changed to 30/80/130/180/230 (+1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 attack damage) from 30/80/130/180/230 (+1.5 total attack damage)
Active attack speed increased to 30/40/50/60/70% from 15/20/25/30/35%
No longer grants attack speed as a persistent effect
New persistent effect: Basic attacks deal 15% of his total attack damage as bonus physical damage on hit
Bear Stance
Udyr now only dashes when stunning champions

Range now accurately matches her attack range

Vault Breaker
Fixed a bug that caused Vault Breaker to become uncastable after activation
Excessive Force
Can no longer be cast while charging Vault Breaker

Increased transparency when in brush

Previously, Zed could safely farm large minion waves with Shadow Slash by consistently resetting the cooldown of Living Shadow. These changes were intended to promote aggressive play with Zed while also creating a window for players to engage on him in lane.
Living Shadow
Cooldown reduced to 18/17/16/15/14 seconds from 22/20.5/19/17.5/16
Shadow Slash
Hitting minions and monsters no longer reduces Living Shadow's cooldown
Hitting enemy champions reduces Living Shadow's cooldown by 2 seconds, up from 1

Elixir of Fortitude is meant to be an “all-in” burst of power for players looking to take control of a situation. With its low cost, however, players were simply defaulting to it as a general starting item with no significant repercussion. Increasing the gold cost of Elixir of Fortitude aligns it better with the risky strategy it was intended for.
Elixir of Fortitude
Cost increased to 350 gold from 250
Alongside our Elixir of Fortitude change, we wanted to tackle ultra-high sustain starts where players were beginning the game with as many health potions as possible in order to safely sustain in lane for long periods of time. However, these high sustain starts also destroy any incentive players have to interact. Manaless champions in particular benefitted from these starts, resulting in some mana-based opponents being unable to burn through the high levels of sustained HP. We will monitor starting item builds and champions that relied heavily on high potion starts, but wanted to focus on addressing passive high-sustain builds first.
Health Potion
Limited to 5 Health Potions at a time
Mana Potion
Limited to 5 Mana Potions at a time
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Upgrade cost reduced to 650 gold from 700 (total cost is now 1000 from 1050)
Combine cost reduced to 265 from 665 (total cost is now 1900 from 2300)
Attack damage reduced to 40 from 50
Ravenous Hydra
Combine cost increased to 600 from 200 (total cost unchanged)

The Howling Abyss
The Howling Abyss has replaced The Proving Grounds in custom games and the basic tutorial
A 5v5 All-Random queue has been enabled for matches played on the Howling Abyss
Restricted to players of level 5 or above
Players may reroll for a different champion in Champion Select for 200 reroll points
All players have been credited with 200 reroll points
Additional reroll points are gained by completing matchmade Howling Abyss games
Reroll point gains increase based on the number of champions the player owns
Reroll point count can be checked in the player profile.

Game Interface
Smart Ping
Updated the ping icons to better match other game visuals
Item shop
Can now be resized by dragging from the bottom right-hand corner
Default size now determined by screen resolution

Fixed an issue where the end of game screen would incorrectly show "League info processing" instead of updating immediately
Champion headers designed for each specific league have been added to the Leagues tab in player profiles
LP 'clamping' has been smoothed. Players will experience more predictable LP gains and losses as they approach 100 LP
Dodging a match in a promotional series now counts as 1 loss. This will still end your series if you were one loss away from losing it

Baron Nashor/Dragon
Now immune to effects that would reduce their damage
Baron Nashor, Dragon, and Vilemaw kill messages are now bolded in chat
Twisted Treeline altar capture messages are now bolded in chat
Items with charges now display the charge counter in the inventory rather than displaying as a buff
Players will no longer see reconnect messages from the enemy team
Trundle has replaced Master Yi in the basic tutorial
Spell shields now only block one spell even if multiple spells hit the target in rapid succession
Blind Random has been added as a pick type in custom games. This mode works the same as All Random, but the enemy team's champions will not be displayed in champion select
Players with video cards that use software vertex shaders (primarily integrated cards like those in laptops) should see a 10-40% FPS performance improvement across all maps

With every patch, we strive to improve the look of the game in varying degrees. We recommend that you have the latest available video card drivers installed.

If you didn't take time to check out the patch preview, Howling Abyss will also feature an in game "chose your alliance" quest. More details on how the quest will trigger and how to earn these cool summoner icons soon.

Lyte has unveiled Behavior Alerts, a new player behavior feature warning players about their toxic behavior as reports start to roll in. This feature is now on the PBE and soon available in a future patch.

Continue reading for more info on this new feature!

Here is Lyte with the details.
"Hey Summoners,
In a future patch, we'll be releasing a feature called Behavioral Alerts. This system will detect spikes of negative behavior (i.e if a player is having a particularly bad day or week) and fire an in-game client warning to the player; we hope that these alerts will give players appropriate feedback about their behaviors before they travel too far down the negative path. We believe that these warnings will prevent a significant number of people from ever being punished by player behavior systems; more importantly, we believe that these warnings will make a difference in the large number of Neutral and Positive players that have rare bad days of toxicity, but previously never got feedback to nudge them back towards the positive.

In the past few months, a few key insights have shifted our approach to tackling player behavior in online communities. For example, we can use Honor, Reports and other behavioral metrics at our disposal to classify the types of players in League of Legends into four groups: Positive, Neutral, Bad, Toxic. It turns out that only 1% of the active playerbase is considered toxic---these are the players who are abusive to other players in a large number of their games.

The data suggests that over 92% of players are Neutral or Positive.

At this point, many players are thinking,

“Lyte, you’re a crazy scientist. If more than 92% of players are Neutral or Positive, why do a high number of my games seem toxic?”

What we’re learning in the data is that context inside and outside a game can twist behaviors-it can even create toxic behaviors in good people. A player might have a bad day at work and get yelled at by their boss, then go home to play some League of Legends. At this point, the player already has high frustration levels or has a low tolerance for mistakes, and might end up raging at his teammates for several games; this pattern of behavior can create ripples in the community, and cause other players to have a bad day-this behavioral effect is like a toxin that can percolate and spread across hundreds and thousands of games. Given 10 players in a game, and the randomness that comes from every player having a unique circumstance, tolerance level and context, it’s now easy to see why a high number of games seem toxic-in each game, 1-2 players might be having bad days in real life, or in-game. So when a Neutral or Positive player starts down that negative path, how do we stem it?

Research suggests that having strong feedback loops can have a dramatic positive effect on behavior; in this case, the ability to quickly and effectively deliver feedback to players as soon as they exhibit behaviors that are out of line with the vast majority of players in League of Legends could be enough to get these players back on track. An example of feedback loops in action were Reform Cards, which provided more feedback to players about why they were being punished by the Tribunal---this feedback improved average reform rates by 7.8%.
Like many other player behavior features such as the Tribunal and Honor Initiative, Behavioral Alerts will take into account every player’s behavioral reputation in the system; for example, there is a lot of math behind the system to avoid firing alerts for false reports. In addition, there are numerous mechanisms in place to completely ignore reports from toxic players or those who abuse the report function to ensure that players will never receive any alerts from these reports. We’re looking forward to feedback from players and hope that these alerts will have a significant impact on player behavior in League of Legends.

This feature is currently live on the PBE. Translations are still being worked on for about half of the languages, and will be added in the future before the feature goes live"

In the follow up posts, he also noted:
"The majority of members on the player behavior team is working on spotlighting more positive behaviors and improving the experiences of neutral and positive players; however, a part of the player behavior team will continue to optimize feedback loops for both negative and positive behaviors. Providing better feedback about negative behaviors ensures that players can adjust their behavior before they end up too far down the negative path."

When asked how many of these warnings someone receives before actually entering the Tribunal, Lyte comments:
"There isn't a fixed number; it varies from person to person depending on the severity of the behaviors, and how frequently they get them."

Interested in the latest news about the potential skin trading system we heard about a few months ago? Hippalus commented on the subject today saying:
"...Unfortunately there are some significant hurdles with a skin trading system that have yet to be solved, so it is not a solution that will be available anytime soon (if ever). "

Continue reading for several posts discussing the idea of a skin trading system, elaborating on the statement above, and explaining why it would be problematic.

Earlier this year, Hippalus mentioned the possibility of one day allowing players to trade skins between themselves.

He popped back on the forums today to give an update on the situation.
"We've been looking into this as one of a few possible options to help players get that one skin they've always loved but never been able to acquire. Unfortunately there are some significant hurdles with a skin trading system that have yet to be solved, so it is not a solution that will be available anytime soon (if ever).
What is driving your interest in this kind of system?"

Hippalus then elaborated on the problems plaguing a potential skin trading system, saying:
"There are open questions about whether trading is good or bad for a game in general (eg. Diablo 3), but the hurdles I have been trying to resolve are technical, regulatory (mainly in Asia), fraud/abuse prevention (hacking accounts and ebay selling) and the method of enabling trade partners to find one another and mutually agree on a trade.

One problem is that demand and supply are vastly different for certain skins. For example, almost no one owns Ice Toboggan Corki. Your chances of seeing it in game are 1 in 900k in NA, 1 in 2.7M in EUW, and 1 in 51M in EUNE. There are likely hundreds or thousands of Corki players and skin collectors that would love to get it, but regardless of the system, very few will ever be able to trade for it. Does it go to the highest bidder? Can it be traded for RP or just other skins? How do we prevent offline deals and the resulting fraud? etc."

Replying to a summoner who was upset by this news he commented that this wasn't the only soulution for players to get rare skins, saying:
"A trading system is only one possible way to solve the issue of helping players acquire their favorite skin."

Elaborating on this a bit, Hippalus continued:
"Thanks for the detail and sorry that you've had to go through such trouble just to try to get your favorite skin.

We've been doing research into the different approaches to solve this for players like you, including a large player survey of limited edition skin owners that went out earlier this month. We will hopefully have at least a partial solution sometime this year. I can't give any more details now on the research or possible solutions but I can assure you it has not been forgotten."

Champion & Skin Sale: Time surfing - April 26 to April 29.

This sand is always getting in my bombs – the desert is no fun at all! I'm Shurima Desert Zilean, and I spend my free time elsewhere… in time. It's always good to reach into the past and futures of my foes to find their weakness. Embarrassing stories from their youth are a nice touch. 487 RP

Fiddle Me Timbers has been feared across the seven seas for ages. Apparently this plank walks you. I can't help myself. Don't worry, if you didn't catch the joke I can rewind it for you. 375 RP

I spotted Earthrune Skarner looking rather silly as an elderly scorpion. Oh well, I suppose everybody goes through their fashion phases; even I had my groovy turns back in the day. 260 RP

Ziggs is quite the character. Of course, he's playing with firecrackers in his youth. All's well that ends well, I suppose. 487 RP

Even as a child Leona was a stoic defender. Whenever smaller children were being picked on, she'd take the bully to task. She's been bonking foes in the head with her shield for years. 440 RP

When I went to check on how Wukong was as a whippersnapper, I went a bit too far back in time and caught him as a wee babe. I didn't learn anything about the Wuju adept besides that he was the cutest baby Runeterra had ever seen. 440 RP

I have some good news for our Latin American summoners out there! Riot has begun it's alpha testing on the upcoming Latin American servers. These servers will be split into Latin America North and Latin America South and feature a full translated Spanish client and voice overs.

The Latin America North Alpha has already started, as evidenced by it's availability in the Regional settings of the launcher.

I would suggest making your way to the official League of Legends Latin America Facebook page if you seek more information about all this. There you'll also find all sorts of sample champion voices from noteworthy Latin American voice actors.

PS: If anyone else has any relevant information about this, feel free to share! I know this is exciting for many of you and I apologize all I have to go on is google translates of the announcements.

*NOTE: This is not a server maintenance but a LEAGUES ( ranked ) maintenance.

Starting at 10 PM PDT for NA, 06:00 UTC for EUW, and 07:00 UTC+1 for EUNE, ranked queues will be disabled while the League system is undergoing maintenance. There will NOT be server downtime.

Here is RiotRival with the details:

We will be performing a Leagues Maintenance tonight. Ranked Queues will be disabled at 10:00 PM PDT in preparation for the maintenance. During the maintenance, the Leagues tab will be unavailable."

There is no time estimation for when the maintenance will be done but I'll be sure to keep ya updated.

Riot has just launched a new PBE community site featuring a fancy new upvote and downvote system.

Here is Riot Pwyff with the announcement:
"Hey Summoners!
Today we’re going to be soft launching a replacement for the PBE forums with a more community-driven content system. With this new forum, we want to promote high quality comments and content while also raising visibility on popular topics. For the PBE community specifically, this also means more pressing feedback will rise to the top, allowing us to react quicker to make those changes. While functionality may be minimal right now (we want to make sure everything’s stable first!), there will be more features to come as we go down the line.

For a quick rundown on how to use the new forums: players and Rioters can submit new discussions to the forums, where anyone with a PBE account can “upvote” or “downvote” a post (or comment) to indicate the quality of the discussion. Higher voted posts and feedback will rise quicker (and will have more visibility) while lower rated posts deemed unconstructive by the community will fall lower down the page. So… without further ado, we hope you get to posting and discussing on our new PBE community!"

A super small PBE update just went out, containing what seems like last minute polish and a slight changes to Bloodstone Lissandra's slash. Hopefully these "empty" PBE patches are a sign that the patch is almost ready to be pushed to live.

At any rate, continue reading for a full shot of the updated splash and a comparison between the new and old.

Here is the updated splash:

In comparison to her old splash, her hand is much more bright red and she seems to be brighter overall.
