And these were the actual houses we visited yesterday night:

When she heard she was invited to our housing tours she worked her buttocks off like a house slave the last two days. And the result was AMAZING!! She added a huge Eldan relict, a zen corner, a peaceful bewb queen/sword maiden waterfall and even a sheep pen! Inside the house we were all super amazed by her kitchen. Single forks, single dishes, everything custom built, absolutely brilliant! But one of our most loved areas was definitely the bathroom! The shower looks so well done as well as the bathrub area. You did an amazing work there, Jo!! Keep it up!

When I first visitied this house I KNEW I had to show it to my guildies! It looks like a SIMS house, just better! :) It provides an amazing starting pond, a tree way to the actual manor and is a huge house built around the actual house! There are several rooms for the family members, Leigh Reynolds explained to me ingame. We saw the kid's room, the master bedroom, the kitchen which even provided a goggy and his food bowl :) She added a check board as well as a tennis area outside! So many things to see. We loved the sauna in the inner house a lot as well as the little study. This house HAS to be seen! :)

All of us were absolutely speechless and amazed by this amazing plot!! At first it looked like a little forest and a small kinda Fallout Shelter but turned out to be soooo incredibly huge inside! A massive tunnel system, super smart gateways, we ended up totally lost often and absolutely speechless. It provides many "fixing" rooms, bathrooms with a ninja tunnel exit and a very big underground black market. We even met the creator Lulu by accident in her house and she continued the trip with us :) She was very, very friendly, explained a lot about her house - for example she put about 600 Platinum (!!) in it as well as more than 3 month of work! You see the love in detail and atmosphere she put into her plot. Guys, you NEED to visit this plot!

Our sweet Nyah's plot we visited next! Oooh, all dem feels when returning to her house :) She has the cutest of dance floor (being a DJ herself!) where she, Nehr and I had a dance off! \o/ She also has another party area with comfy couches and a mini bar. Inside is the After Party snuggle area with many pillows to sleep away your headache. When I first visited her house, I envied her cutie Aurin shelves a lot and I even found new things when returning yesterday! She has a stone floating above her party floor for charming purposes :) Check it out yourself at "Serenyah Saki" in Wildstar, Jabbit EU!

After Nyah's cuteness overload house we visited Nehr's creepy and morbid Limp-Removel-Shingle. Right in the front he offers special souvernirs for the visitors! You can buy time bombs, special flasks and even entrails if you need new ones after your original guts have been removed. And if you didn't make it, Nehr even has a cozy graveyard in front of his porch. There also lies Timmy. Who he found when he was dead already. Yeah...

Inside you are greeted by a huuge custom built fish tank! A creepy little Fallout Machine is playing a crazy music while you're discovering the secret passage in the back - a simple push of buttons makes a secret door appear. Behind that door lies Nehr's operation area. This is where he "fixes" his patients. According to him he can make you faster by adding a third leg. Or smarter when adding a Chua head. So you definitely want to come here fot improvements! Next time we will also see his custom built train!

Jumping Puzzle Extreme!
@Nehr and our new friend Lulu passed the level pretty quick while @Nyah and I had issues to get throug that jumping puzzle part. We ended up totally lost in the fields of nowhere, even with a bonus level on the side. Nehr instructed us to use the tornado which propelled us to the roof like tiny planes! I failed in that terrible puzzle but at least we ended up in one piece. Visit this cool plot yourself and enjoy the different levels and references :)

We also revisited Lulu's amazing sewer house again and ended up in some funny roleplay about surgeries and hiding bodies from soldier @Jezziex :) We also had a fun After Party in @Nyah 's yard, a little dance off and a sit in. THANK YOU everybody for joining or showing off your houses! It was a great and exciting tour!

Our next housing tours will be in two weeks, Friday Oct. 24th! We will visit the Interior Award #1 Winner, have special prices for the winners of a competition and even a SPECIAL GUEST! Yes, you heard right, we'll have a little VIP with us :) Notorious Aurin and Stalker Killing Machine @MrShackelberry will join us for the next tour! Isn't that exciting?

Sooo, ladies, be prepared to drool at him and everybody feel free to have fun and maybe also offer your house for a visit, too?

Love,

Neny

Whitestar News Octobre 2014

Whitestar News: Octobre 2014

It's seven months that we are working on our project Whitestar, and seeing taking shape step by steps. What are the news this Fall?

Whitestar is now established in ArcheAge on the server Nui. After a mitigated success on Kyprosa, we decided to move to Nui to avoid hours of queue, and the character restrictions (that has only be lifted yesterday). This allowed us to gather a lot more members, that are passionated and dedicated to the game. Some real life friends of members joined and we met by chance some old MistAngels that joined us!
The organisation of the guild is in an on-going process. We need to discuss our goals, our wishes and how we wil organise ourselves. Due to the nature of the game, we might have to think a bit out of the box.
At the moment we have various guild project: boats, guild Village that are taken care off by some of our most dedicated members. We are generally helping each other a lot, and collaborating, which is a great thing. We are also doing mistakes and messing up things, but we are working on solving everything as fast as we can. We are still learning the basic of this highly strategic game.

The month of June and July, our Whitetsar guild in ESO was put in hibernation, due to the release of Wildstar and the massive migration of our members. But since then the guild had been slowly been rebuild, and we have at this day, a small, cozy, but active little guild. We organise two to three events by week, and we have the Infernal Trio online every day and sharing with us the amusing screenshots of their adventures.
The gap in levels between our various members is starting to become smaller and smaller: the big majority of our active members is finishing their leveling. Soon, we will have a bunch of veteran players to start to do veteran Dungeons and other activities.
We have also welcomed lately several new members that need to be introduced properly in the community. The upcoming updates will also make our life a lot easier to organise events, as it will introduce the Undaunted dailies and the Scaling Dungeons. A lot of very excitting content are awaiting for us!
As we are growing, our guild need to evolve and we are currently looking for one or two officers to help with the daily organisation.

We have established a strong guild on Argent Dawn that is currently preparing for the release of Warlord of Draenor. Many members that were playing on other servers have already migrated their future main or have finished to level new characters, we even have a North American member that bought the European version of the game to play with everyone else. This show the dedication of our members!
While waiting for the release of the patch, the guild organise various events: Challenge Dungeon runs, Old raid evening, and we even started to raid Siege of Orgrimar to have a taste of what raiding together will be in WoD. Note that some of our members have never properly raid beside LFR, and some other didn't raided since Wrath of the Lych King or before. It will take time to adjust to each others, to learn to our new members the basics of raiding, and to remember old routine for others. This is very excitting time and those events are promising lots of fun once the expansion hit!
In addition of those events, we have a Whitestar Daily to perfom, imagined by our beloved leader!

We have unfortunately abandonned and deserted the game. Many of us loved it, but there was something that just didn't work out and in the end members started to fade away ones by ones.
We still believe that WildStar is a great and promising game, and hopefully sometimes in future we will want to give it another go.

Many things are already organised to favourise bonds between our members that arenot playing the same games, and we will continue!

  • TIP or Today I Play: use this to organise rendez vous with other members
  • TeamSpeak: we encourage everyone to join TS, even if its to iddle in the AFK room, sound cut. This to allow better and faster communication!
  • Saturday Team Speak contest: Once is a while a TeamSpeak contest is organised. It's fun! It last an hour or so, and it allow you to have a good laugh with other members! And of course, the most important to earn points and attempt to beat Agagor! Check out the Leaderboard.
  • Monthly Community Meeting: Every month we organise a community meeting. This is the opportunity for new members to get introduced, to share with you important news, and to give you the chance to express your concerns or share your ideas!
  • Very soon will be organised the "Whitestar Mission" where members will be encouraged to do something a bit crazy or silly that shoudl reinforce the bonds between our various members!

While we have a core of members that are very active on our forums, we also have a lot of members that are still pretty unactive. We really would like to encourage them to participate more! Spread the word, spread the love!

The Council also need help, and the first and best help you can provide is to be active and dynamic yourself. This generate more activity as a whole and encourage other to follow your example!

All in all, I do believe that our Whitestar project is growing nicely. Our community expand slowly, but surely, and we have three active guilds where to have fun together! Let's not rest on our victory however, and let's continue with our effort, our dedication and our dynamism to build Whitestar and to make it the best community ever existing in the MMO universe!

Nehr
Wildstar Server

Alright, so I think our minds are made up.

72% voted for PVE in the end. So...

Henceforth the Wildstar-guild <Whitestar> will be active on the realm Ascendancy-PVE.

While it saddens me a bit that we couldn't come up with a good compromise between PVE and PVP I really believe this choice to be the most advantageous. While we do have a plan, and while we will be an active guild, Whitestar isn't a hardcore guild. Our core is built of people who love gaming and games, we're built around our Multi-Gaming Community. We're a group of people who enjoy everything the game has to offer, be it PVP or PVE, and we have people who hate PVP and people who love PVP.

I don't want to steamroll anyones opinions or preferences (myself included) - but truth be told Whitestar doesn't really stand out as a PVP-kind of-guild. We're an open, calm and mature guild. We're a community, a family and we're friends enjoying our time together.

Playing on a PVP-server will make people feel bad, it will make them less interested in playing the game and some may quit in the end because of this. This is of course true the other way around as well. But players who want to partake in open world pvp have the option to flag themselves for pvp - while this isn't optional in every instance it's still better than nothing at all. People who does not want to be involved in pvp while leveling (on a PVP-server) has no option to do so.

I hope everyone can see why this decision was made and how hard it was. I really hope for everyones continued support and that everyone will at least give the PVE-server a chance.

So why Ascendancy and not Eko? Why not voting on where we should end up?

I have no idea on the actual number of people that will play Wildstar and I can't even guess what the numbers are in Europe. But what I do know is that no one wants to play on a server that is dying from the start.

An unofficial guesstimate from people visiting forums etc points out that around 57% of people will play on PVP-servers. Since there's only one PVP-server it means around 57% of people playing Wildstar (in Europe) will play on that server. Around 35% of people playing will be on PVE-servers - with Ascendancy being the unofficial "main server" for Europe PVE.

Usually servers are quite over-burdened the first few weeks of start with everyone trying to log in all the time and a lot of people being in the starting zones etc. But usually after (at the most) 2-3 weeks this often settles down. So the reason why we're choosing Ascendancy over Eko is that even if Ascendancy may suffer from queues the first two or three weeks I'd rather have those queues at start than a semi-dead server after 4-6 months.

Since Ascendancy is the "main server" it's a safe guess to say that it will be active no matter if there's tens of thousands of people playing or only a few thousand.

Again... I hope you all understand why it turned out like this and I hope everyone agrees. My single most important priority as guild master of Whitestar (in Wildstar) is to make sure you all are enjoying yourselves. If anyone disagrees to this, then by all means please talk to me ASAP! Wildstar headstart/softlaunch goes live within 16 hours from this was posted.

I'm really looking forward to play with you all and I honestly believe that we're all going to have a lot of fun together in Wildstar.

Thank you <3

A critical period for Whitestar

Greetings everyone,

As you know, Whitestar is our dear project : the dream to build a strong and warm community for us to enjoy long standing friendships while playing our favourites games.
Until now, we had one "serious" guild and several "distractions" on the side. In a dozen of days, we will have our second "serious" guild. This is a critical moment for us, as we will see our community being divided in two very good, brand new MMOS. It's in this moment we will see if our project is working, what we need to improve.

But while being a very exiting period, it's also a dangerous one. We risk to see our ESO guild losing interest and activity. Same with our Wildstar guild, after the first month of playtime, we will enter in the summertime which is usually a dreadfull period for guilds.
We also risk to see our players being splitted in two different guilds and have poor or none communication between them. We do not want to have the ESO players on a side and the Wildstar players on the other, especially our trials that applied to a specific game.
The Council is very aware of the dangers, and that's why we are already planning various solutions to be sure we will keep all our guilds dynamic without pushing the recruitment (which is sometimes we do not want to do as we find extremly important to leave time for everyone to get aquainted with each others) . We will do our best to keep our community united beyond the games we play!

WE NEED YOU!
More than ever, we will need your help! The Council is building the structure of our community. But it's up to you, our members, to bring life to it! We need you to be loyal, patient, and dedicated!

WEDNESDAY 21-05-14 at 20h30 we will organise a guild meeting before the community event. I really do hope to see all of you joining to discuss this important moment.

For this day, I'll ask you to make a little homework. Take the time to think about different things:

  • What is your biggest hope in the guild you play
  • What is your pure gamer ambitions (ex: Top PVP in Wildstar, Raiding in ESO)
  • What would make you leave the community
  • What are you ready to do for your community

During this meeting, we will discuss about various solutions to be sure to keep all our guilds dynamic and fun for everyone, and to ensure that we stay united, no matter the games we play.
We will remind you that as member, even as trial, you are very welcome and encouraged to organise events, to share your opinions, to submit ideas.
We will propose several tasks and jobs that could be done to increase the dynamism and fortify our community.

SUCCESS!
If we succesfully manage to keep both our ESO and Wildstar guild active, dynamic and succesfull through the summer, while keeping the atmosphere cozy and warmhearted as we like it, we will have accomplished a GREAT FEAT! Then we can look uppon the launch of Warlod of Draenor, and any other games that could be released with confidence. Then we would have succeeded the hardest challenge of our project!

To accomplish this, we really need you!

Looking forward to work together with you guys, to make Whitestar the best community that ever existed in the gaming community!
