Unfollow some of those billion people you follow. Follow some more games and get chatting, get involved. :D

I have to agree with @Lonrem. 7,497 is an awful lot of folks to be following. Follow active members with like interest. Then reach out to them by commenting on their post. It is all about making connections and friends here. After all this ain't Facebook ;)

@Lonrem It's not about a lack of interest in the people, but the site. When are we ever getting wroth while updates? I still have to link anything worth while that I write to something off site because you STILL can't do anything here.

@SirJaxxy Believe it or not, I actually almost used to keep up with almost 300 people at a time on here on a week to week basis. But everyone else's inactivity only encouraged my own.

Speaking of which, I get more traffic from a heavily downvoted reddit thread than I do from Anook when it comes to posting content as well, whether it's youtube or otherwise.

The site was cool when I first started using it, but it also hasn't really changed (well, now you can post .gifs I guess) since I first started using it

@rifkingz Hey Rifkingz, could you explain what features you are missing? From my expirience our programmers are always thankful for input what would the site make better for users.

@Knysbart Well, I shouldn't have to accidentally click highlighted objects for 2 minutes to randomly get one URL to link and share statuses anook.com/status/28993 when taking a screenshot takes like 1/10th the time i.imgur.com/D6ryUa0.png as an example.

I mean, I don't even have any clue how I would go about linking say @Lonrems comment to you, as I can only navigate my own?

I know the appeal is that its like a facebook for gamers, but what it seems like is Anook took parts of Twitter, reddit & facebook, and just slapped them all together hoping for the best. Where is the refinement?

Linking comments should be fairly easy to implement, thanks for the suggestion.

I don't really understand what you main issue with Anook is tho. You are sure right, reddit will generate more traffic for your content and probably will for a long time even tho we are growing faster every month... if this is your major concern, you may want to check back in a year or so?

On the other hand, I do think that Anook has already quite a few unique features. But even though we have a lot more to come, if you don't like what we are offering now, chances are you won't like what we will introduce in the future...

That said, I really do enjoy your content and would be sad to see you leave.

my only problem with anook is that it's still quite small. i don't post much myself but i love reading the news feed every day on my way to work.

@rifkingz @Chocy @PeteROCKs It is funny what I love about Anook is that it is still small. I come to Anook to find active gamers to interact with and become friends with, maybe even find some folks to do collaborations with. I do not come here to drive traffic to my content, though it is a nice side benefit. If I want to drive traffic to my content there are plenty of other ways for me to do it. Are the some features I would like to see implemented, sure. I mean who doesn't want something added lol. I have met some great people here. I can't say so much about reddit. The larger sites are just so large that folks like me (little guys) just get swallowed up and not even spit back out.
