I've been getting analog recently, and have picked up several board/card games like Pathfinder, Netrunner, and Marvel: Legendary. Most of them can be played single player (which is good, because my wife can't stand playing these games), but some of them are multiplayer/can be played multiplayer.

There's a program called OCTGN () which allows you to play a lot of these games (LotR, Netrunner, My Little Pony And-I-Am-Not-Kidding, etc) online. Some of them are freely available, some require a lot more work (like Pathfinder -- Paizo doesn't release their artwork, so you need to scan your own cards).

I've never actually USED OCTGN, but others might have. Is anyone interested in checking this out?

I would be. I've used and Vassal for testing out my tile game. It worked but was clunky. Vassal especially.

I like this idea lots but my only worry is actually being able to show up for it. :/

It's a little more structured than Vassal from what I can tell; I think it's specifically designed for card games.

Here's a video from the dude who made the Android: Netrunner plugin for OCTGN, explaining how to set it up and use it (Kind of a "bad example", as Netrunner is complex without having to use it to explain another system).

I don't know if you were kidding about the My Little Pony thing, but I'm a pretty active player of that game and would love to play some on OCTGN.

Also, pretty much any card game. We should play them all together.

@Kodra was trying to get me into this earlier today, so I am down with installing it and trying to figure out how to get things set up. I used to use apprentice and magic workbench eons ago, so I am always down for this sort of madness.

@Kodra I was KINDA joking, but only because I saw that it WAS an option to play via OCTGN, and my daughter has some cards XD
