Hey guys, Lonrem here, Anook's Community Manager Nerd fellow!
Wanted to drop a couple suggestions and hints to make the most out of the website. While you are welcome to ignore any or all of these suggestions and it won't hurt my feelings, I'd love to see you all continue to use this site after the event ends and this will hopefully help you get the broadest reach possible!
I'll also announce here that Anook is going to support Blaugust with a special prize! I'm going to tally up the Hearts that each blog post gets for each blogger (Blaugger?) and award the top blog with a game code. I'm going to see if I can round up other prizes from some of our friends and partners as well, no promises there! This does give a bit of an incentive to post regularly, start on the first of August, but also to share the link to your blog on Anook! If you've got any questions, let me know!
Cheers and Happy Blogging!
Oh wow! You're awesome, Lonrem! That's a super cool offer! :D
So exciting! Thanks for all the tips and suggestions Lonrem! :D
This is very awesome! Thank you! :D
Thanks for the tips!
Besides the tips, I'm also open to feedback from you guys, we're hoping to provide some more blogger integration and support so please share your thoughts on the site. Beta is beta after all!
Awesome initiative Lonrem! It's nice to see the site get involved in this project. For now I have no suggestions but maybe later during the month I will get ideas haha. Thanks for your involvement!
Awesome way to help peeps understand the nuances of using Anook, I like it! :D
I am still having the problem I saw last year where, if I do a blog post to the Blaugust Nook, the post does not pick up the external link I insert (http or https) unless I post and then edit and save again. It also does not pick up a thumbnail from my post.
This is different behavior from when I just post to "Share what's on your mind" on the main page, which always works on the first shot and always picks up a picture and turns it into a thumbnail.
