Basic Picasa Tutorial: FFXIV Screenshot Editing

For the time being my voice is finally working so I made the video that I've been promising certain people that I would make while I can! So here's how easy it is to produce the type of screenshots for Final Fantasy I've been spamming you all with for ages! Hope it might be helpful for someone.

Thanks a lot for the tutorial! This program seem very convenient and seems to make screenshot editing fun and creative without having to put too much time!

Oooh this tutorial is super great @Aeyvi !! Thank you so much for sharing with us! I always wondered how you kept us updated with so many incredibly pretty screenies - apparently you spend a lot of time to make them beautiful, so this is really some kind of art you're sharing with us. I'd definitely want to try this myself in the future, although noone of us will ever be able to post as mezmerizingly pretty shots as you provide us with, Thanks SO much for your effort to teach us!!

oh no, saddest sadness, i tried to download it, but a german text says they no longer provide Picasa and it is not downloadable anymore D: Maybe they want you to be the only provider of pretty screens :)

Okay, I am very sorry for my spammingtons, I found an old version of this software and it is amaaazing what you can do with it!! Since I do not have Photoshop (and when I tried I understood nothing), this is such a nice alternative for adding neat text and such, and all the filters and it is so easy to use, thank you SO MUCh for showing us, honey! I accidentally let it search for ALL the pictures on my harddrivres and well.. let's say I think it will poof up in smoke soon, haha.... they day you realise you have WAY too many piccies and screenies X'D

@Neny Sorry I didn't message you back sooner! If you needed the most 'recent' one I can always email you over the .exe file, but that's so strange you had to get hold of it an odd way! It's sad but google are dropping the development of Picasa so I'm holding onto my exe's like precious gemstones. I can't organise anything photo wise without it. I'm so so glad that you are finding it useful, that was my intention when I made this :). I've been using it for so many years and find it so easy and straight forward. Oooh I've made the mistake of scanning allllll the library and it picks up every single image from everywhere, sometimes it's useful as I find something I lost but sometimes it picks up 600 icon samples from adobe or something silly like that. Please let me know if you have any questions though, I will do my best to answer. <3

@torhagen That's right! That's the exact one I have.

@Elloa So do I, but I use the program to help me do that too :)

Thank you for making this video. Looks like some really nice simplistic, yet powerful, software. I'm generally using Gimp and had to google how to draw basic shapes.. think I might be making the switch xD

@Alucardo Thank you so much! It certainly doesn't have quite the features of something like GIMP but it works very well along side it and for minor editing and organisation. I really hope you will find it useful and if you have any questions just poke me :)
